Re: Stuck input terminals on new Controllino Mega

Okay, I rang the Controllino guys today. They said to open the terminal a little and press down a bit to try and free the terminals. I did this and managed to fix all of them :) I had to press them quite a few times (you're flexing the PCB internally so don't go crazy) but for each one I got a satis...

Stuck input terminals on new Controllino Mega

I'm doing a project using two Controllino Megas and have found a problem with the input terminals on one of them. When I try to loosen the screw the internal chamber does not open and the screw tries to come up out of the block. This happens on inputs 0, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 17. Is there a way to get...

Thank you. I'm doing more 12V stuff these days

Can I run a Controllino Maxi Automation on 12V?

I notice the 12/24V label has been replace by a 12V label.

Is this only a cosmetic change or can it only run on 24V?

Thanks,
Mark

Re: RS485 Controllino Maxi Automation

Using the Ethernet port you could do Modbus-TCP.

Use this library to set up the Controllino as a Modbus TCP Slave: https://www.arduino.cc/en/ArduinoModbus/ArduinoModbus

You can test using QModbus: http://qmodbus.sourceforge.net

Driving Stepper Motor

You demonstrate the use of a Controllino mini to drive a stepper motor in the video below:

Could you provide the sketch and any necessary instructions?

Thanks

Re: Ethernet unique MAC address

Thank you, I will do so.
I will however store the MAC in the EEPROM so that I don't need to modify the program for each device.

Do you test each Controllino before it leaves the factory?

Would it be an option to store a unique MAC in the EEPROM when testing the RS485 port?

Ethernet unique MAC address

The examples seem to show a hard-coded MAC address.

Is there a way to load a correct/unique MAC address?

The Industruino guys recently solved this issue by using a unique identifier from the RTC:
