Hello Seaimager,

Yes of course this works. Directly over the pinheader.

Re: Steppers on MINI

Hello PaulsM, It is working properly. The "problem" is that the CONTROLLINO MINI, MAXI, MAXI-A and also 12 outputs of the MEGA are High-Side Switches. Imagine a switch ... that is ON and OFF. A switch does not force the output to GND. It simply disconnects. So you can only drive a unipolar stepper m...

Re: Can I run a Controllino Maxi Automation on 12V?

Hello Mark, The MAXI Automation will work from 10-28V ... only the screw terminal inputs are fixed at 24V volts. But since these inputs are mostly analog inputs ... you can easily make a 12V digital input if you use a small IF loop. You only have to set the level you want to switch to HIGH. Basicall...

Re: Can't Use CONTROLLINO_A4 or A5

Hi,

The anlaog inputs A4 + A5 are only analog inputs.
So you can make a small IF loop to make it a digital input.

Re: Power Consumtion

Hello Andi,

The MINI consumes about 25mA @24V and about 40mA @12V.
The MAXI 6 MEGA consumes about 80mA @24V and about 140mA @12V.

Re: Maxi - Running 2 DC-motors, both ways.

Hello maasoey, Sorry ... but the MAXI only has high side switches! A high side switch is an electronical switch that switches the supply voltage to the output or not. A high side switch will not pull the output to ground if "0". Only the CONTROLLINO MEGA has 12 half bridge outputs. A half bridge out...

Re: 0-10V 4-20mA

Hello Piotr, Yes this is possible. Of course, you can define the IO so it is a 4-20mA. The reason why 4-20mA exist instead of 0-20mA is because then you have a very define area 0-4mA where you have "0". Imagine a Motor Driver controlled with 0-20mA … and for some reasons you have 0,1V on the line or...

Re: CONTROLLINO for real projects

Hello Ran, Your assumptions are totally wrong. Why should a design based on Arduino only be for Education and Prototyping? What is Arduino? Arduino is not a hardware! Arduino is a programming platform that has chosen some dedicated microcontrollers to work with their programming platform. What is in...
