Re: Disable automatic reset

Hello Marco,

thanks for the information. We will investigate it and probably prepare a new firmware for the USB-UART converter.

Stay tuned! :)

Re: Disable automatic reset

Hello, but the reset via USB COM port is essential for the activation of the bootloader and sketch upload by the avrdude from the Arduino IDE. So we cannot just disable it based on "integrators" request :) Because then we will lose the compatibility with the Arduino IDE ... Or am I wrong? Thanks, Lu...

Re: HMI for controllino PLC

Hi, this is really general question ... the best from comfort/performance/price point of view? ;)

Let´s try to Google "hmi for arduino" as a starting point.

Maybe someone will share with us some ideas, or already working solution?

Thanks,
Lukas

Re: CAN BUS

Hello, yes, you can access the SPI at the pinheader at the top of the CONTROLLINO. So, you should not order the "PURE" variant :) When you will be looking for a shield - choose the one which is 5 V compatible. When it is declared that it works (from performance point of view) with Arduino UNO, then ...

Re: Disable automatic reset

Hello, the only way is to modfiy the firmware of the Atmega16U2 which serves as an USB to UART converter. The source codes are available, e.g. here https://github.com/jj1bdx/arduino-atmega16u2 The build toolchain is described e.g. here http://www.fourwalledcubicle.com/files/LUFA/Doc/151115/html/_pag...

Re: avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding

I understand your setup and the problem. I am afraid that existing Arduino solution (also used in CONTROLLINO) - Arduino bootloader and Avrdude commanded from Arduino IDE - is not prepared for such a usage. Please note that programming COM port open/close resets the main microcontroller. So, when yo...

Re: Data Logging using Controllino Maxi

Hello, as I can see from the OpenLog Hookup Guide https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/openlog-hookup-guide the UART interface is designed for 3V3, not 5V as are on the CONTROLLINO pin header. So, maybe you have already destroyed your OpenLog. What exactly do you mean by "not working"? What is your ...

Re: DHT22 and Controllino Maxi AUTOMATION

Hello,

can you share your setup (how all the wires are connected) with us, please?

Do I understand it right that everything works fine when the CONTROLLINO is supplied from USB only and goes wrong when you connect external 24V to the CONTROLLINO?

Thanks!
