Re: Official Arduino Modbus RTU library and Controllino Mega

Hi,

I think that you have done only one small mistake - please try to replace

Code: Select all

CONTROLLINO_UART_TX
with

Code: Select all

CONTROLLINO_RS485_TX
.

And it is also necessary to add

Code: Select all

#include <Controllino.h>
at the top of the RS485.cpp.

I will try to prepare the setup and test it here also.

Good luck!

Re: Firmware update at Maxi Automation with SD Card

Hello Marcel,

you can find the information here

c:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\bootloaders\optiboot\README.TXT

The procedure should be the same for the stk500v2 bootloader (or its clones).

Good luck!

Re: Firmware update at Maxi Automation with SD Card

Hello,

please, check our FAQ No.7 at GitHub.

This may be the source of your troubles - you should handle the chip select signals for the Ethernet and RTC in the modified bootloader also.

Best regards,
Lukas

Re: 2.8" TFT Screen

Hello zal, thank you for the photos. You have really nice screw terminals for the flat cables :) Again - I have checked your setup and do not see any obvious reason why it should not work. Do you have any idea how fast is the communication with the display? Please note that there are some protection...

Re: Controllino Mini: RTC e SD Card SPI

Hello, SPI at CONTROLLINO MINI can be used for the RTC OR for the custom peripheral connected to the pinheader, not for both. So your solution and usage of the pin 10 as a slave select signal is correct. But in principle you can use all pinheader pins as digital outputs, even the analog and the inte...

Re: MODBUS TCP Library

Hello, have you tried the official Arduino Modbus TCP library ? We do not need to write our own library, because the CONTROLLINO is compatible with the Arduino boards - in this case CONTROLLINO MAXI/MEGA = Arduino Mega/Mega2560 + Ethernet Shield (the first version with Wiznet W5100). Please, share w...

Re: Sampling rate for analog input of maxi automation

Hi, based on my simple test - just calling analogRead in a loop, you can reach something like 8 kHz. void loop() { // print the results to the Serial Monitor: Serial.print("Millis before:"); Serial.println(millis()); for (int i = 0; i < 1000; i++) { // read the analog in value: sensorValue = analogR...

Re: 2.8" TFT Screen

Hello,

I have checked the datasheet of the Elegoo Arduino 2.8'' TFT Touch Screen and your pinout and I do not see any reason why it should not work. Maybe you can share with us a photo of your setup?

Thanks,
Lukas

Re: avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding

Hello, it seems that the main microcontroller is in a permanent reset, or the bootloader is missing. At first - please check that the reset button is not stuck under the housing.
