RST LED

Hello,
I've been working with a MEGA for a while, but now the RST LED is constantly on and I can't upload any new sketches to my device.
I would appreciate any assistance you could offer.

Hello,
please try to check the reset button mechanically. If you open the housing, it can be, that the reset button is pressed all the time.

Hello,
I Opened the housing and checked the resistance between the separate terminals of the button.
The maximal resistance is ~50 ohm. Isn't this too low?
I opened the button and removed the cap that connects the terminals when pushed, bit I still read a very low resistance across terminals.
The even lower resistance for the open channel is ~0.5 ohm, which makes sense.

Hi Jarda,

I am having the same problem on a MEGA that was working, the RST light is permanently on, I can't upload or run existing program, resistance across reset button is 32 ohms when open and MEGA disconnected.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
